The aid worker's warning.
In May, the decision was made to renew the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza. The new method chosen is the establishment of distribution points operated by American companies, with the IDF in charge of security and preventing Hamas access. The Prime Minister promised: It won't be perfect – but it will succeed. Meanwhile, the evidence tells a different story. A former employee of one of the American companies that operate and secure the aid distribution describes a dangerous reality for the residents of the Strip, for the Americans – and also for IDF soldiers. This time we are with our foreign correspondent, Keren Betzalel, who spoke with that employee extensively – and also with his former colleagues – and they all tell the same story: Beyond the danger to human life, the new aid distribution format undermines the IDF's ability to fight Hamas, which still manages to loot large quantities of humanitarian aid.
