Big Ideas 2026: The Enterprise Orchestration Layer

    From 🇺🇸 a16z Podcast, published at 2025-12-23 11:00

AI is becoming the orchestration layer inside the enterprise. In this episode of Big Ideas 2026, we explore the shift from isolated AI copilots to coordinated multi-agent systems that plan, analyze, and execute work across teams and tools. This is not a new feature, but a new way workflows run inside large organizations. You will hear from Seema Amble on context extraction and coordinated agent teams, Angela Strange on why unified data and parallel workflows accelerate core replacement, Alex Immerman on multiplayer AI and execution boundaries, and David Haber on what makes these systems commercially defensible. Together, these perspectives define the enterprise orchestration layer: not a chatbot and not a standalone tool, but a coordinated system of agents that runs the workflow and delivers real outcomes across the business.

Resurrecting dire wolves is just the beginning for Colossal Biosciences’ Ben Lamm

From 🇺🇸 Masters of Scale, published at 2025-12-23 10:00

In this encore episode of Rapid Response, we revisit a scientific breakthrough that set the internet ablaze: The ‘de-extinction’ of the dire wolf. While many celebrated Colossal Biosciences’ announcement, the experiment also sparked controversy throughout the scientific community — namely the ethics of birthing and re-wilding extinct animals, and whether Colossal’s dire wolf puppies are the real thing. Colossal’s co-founder and CEO Ben Lamm joined host Bob Safian to take us inside the dire wolf journey, revealing how the startup attracted a roster of celebrity investors, and what the company’s technology means for not only conservation and biodiversity, but potentially the future of human health. Visit the Rapid Response website here: https://www.rapidresponseshow.com/See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Ric Elias - The Art of Living Well - [Invest Like The Best, CLASSICS] Welcome to this classic episode. Classics are my favorite episodes from the past 10 years, published once a month. These are N of 1 conversations with N of 1 people. Ric Elias is the CEO and co-founder of Red Ventures, which has a portfolio of fast-growing digital businesses like Lonely Planet, The Points Guy, Bankrate, and large investments in a variety of other businesses across industries. He began the business in 2000 and has grown it to now a global company with thousands of employees. Ric walks us through the early struggles that have led to what is now a flourishing investing platform, but mostly this episode is a masterclass on cultural values and philosophies that transcend mere financial gain. We discuss the difference between living good and well, the power of forgiveness, and compounding more than just your capital. Ric’s story is one of resilience, humility, and grace. His story about being in the front row of the plane that Captain Sully landed in the Hudson is singular and very moving. Please enjoy my conversation with Ric Elias. Prosecute the participants of the massacre

From 🇮🇱 אחד ביום (Echad Ba'Yom), published at 2025-12-23 05:16

Not long after the October 7 massacre, the police began collecting evidence against its perpetrators - the thousands who crossed the fence that day, were captured, and have been imprisoned in Israel ever since. Mountains of evidence accumulated against them, but no one had any idea how, or who, would handle it. This time we are with Adv. Yuval Kaplinsky from Dr. Gideon Fisher & Co. Law Firm, formerly head of the International Department in the State Attorney's Office - discussing the first draft bill on the matter and whether it will shorten the process - or simply create a host of new problems. 2025 and the Donald Trump show

    From 🇧🇷 O Assunto, published at 2025-12-23 03:16

Guest: Oliver Stuenkel, professor of International Relations at FGV and researcher at Harvard University and the Carnegie Endowment. On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump reassumed the presidency of the USA. And, in this first year of his second term leading the White House, he governed with all eyes on him, generating practically daily headlines. Throughout 2025, Trump made controversial statements and live-streamed announcements. Everything designed to make an impact. In this episode, Natuza Nery talks with Oliver Stuenkel, professor of International Relations at FGV and researcher at Harvard University and the Carnegie Endowment, who analyzes Trump's strategy of governing like a "showman". He explains what Trump's relationship with Lula – and the US's with Brazil – looks like after a rollercoaster involving massive tariffs and the accusation that the Brazilian government and Judiciary were promoting a "witch hunt" against Jair Bolsonaro. Oliver comments on Trump's strategy of positioning himself as a "peace agent" in global geopolitics and points out the prospects for the US president in domestic politics – and what he can expect from the 2026 midterm elections. Oliver also assesses signs that Trump might attempt a third term, which is prohibited by the American Constitution.

A journey between Riyadh's projects, parking lots, and advertisements

From 🇸🇦 سقراط مع عمر الجريسي, published at 2025-12-23 03:00

Riyadh today is undergoing a major transformation, growing at one of the fastest rates globally, which has placed service providers before real challenges balancing the speed of expansion with improving the quality of the urban landscape. This episode's guest is Abdullah Abu Dawood, CEO of Remat Al Riyadh Development Company, the development arm of the Riyadh Region Municipality, which is behind many projects that daily touch the lives of Riyadh residents. We discuss the three most important projects at Remat: the Riyadh Parking project, which changed the appearance of streets and raised many questions about paid and managed parking. How does it work? When are violations calculated? Can they be appealed? And how are parking fees calculated? And about the Muthul project, which aims to raise awareness and compliance among establishments, and monitor violations and wrong practices. How is the compliance process regulated? And what are the most frequent violations in establishments? Finally, we talked about the Riyadh Advertisements project, one of the largest advertising contracts in Saudi history, which will bring about a qualitative leap in Riyadh and change the city's urban and aesthetic landscape. --- • Download the "Thmanyah Radio" app. • Opportunity for those interested: The Socrates team is looking for passionate individuals to work with them. Argentine small and medium-sized enterprises on alert over the opening of imports

    From 🇦🇷 Cara o Ceca, published at 2025-12-22 18:16

The activity has seen ten consecutive quarters of decline, and there is concern in the sector. According to the SME Observatory Foundation, 37% of them lost market share to imports, and 73.3% of those surveyed identified China as the main origin of these imports. "We are experiencing a recession that deepened due to the fall in the domestic market; many companies could not be competitive against imports from China, they have lost production capacity, and this is deepening more and more," said Daniel Rosato, president of Argentine Small and Medium-sized Industrial Companies, in an interview with Cara o Ceca. Regarding the labor reform promoted by Javier Milei's government, the businessman highlighted: "This labor reform does not seek to create jobs; if there is work, yes, but if there isn't, it will generate an inverse effect. Workers lose rights, competitiveness continues to be lost. The dedicated SME industry is semi-paralyzed," he concluded. Mercosur-EU Agreement: "A total liberalization for 91% of European products would be negotiated" The signing of the treaty was frustrated, but Brazil's president, Lula da Silva, anticipated that it would materialize in January, when Paraguay holds the pro tempore presidency of the bloc. "There are tensions because Europeans see it as a 'cows for cars' agreement. Mercosur products would be food, while the EU would commercialize cars or machinery," said Gabriel Merino, international analyst, on Cara o Ceca. "The agreement would be very important for exporting manufactured products with added value, despite the industry having lost relevance in Brazil and the relationship with the bloc and Argentina having less weight," he concluded.
